Caitlin Harrison is a classical singer and composer based in Oxford. She studied voice as a secondary discipline at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London under acclaimed operatic soprano Joan Rodgers CBE. She has since held choral scholarships at St Margaret’s Lee, London, and Exeter College, Oxford. She is an experienced recitalist and soloist and has appeared with multiple choirs and choral societies in Oxford and London. She currently studies under American soprano Cynthia Holman, and completed a Masters degree in composition at the University of Oxford in 2021. Caitlin is the Director of Music for the Glyme Valley Churches and conducts and sings for the Glyme Valley Singers, a semi-professional group of 4-16 lay clerks and choral scholars from the Oxford colleges that leads weekly worship in 3 churches just north of Oxford. She also previously directed the intermediate and senior choirs at the Peterborough Centre for Young Musicians. She has been teaching privately since 2018.
