Sam is an energetic and enthusiastic Violin and Piano teacher with over 10 years experience working with you people and students across multiple platforms, including volunteering in orchestras and music groups. He has a natural intellectual and artistic curiosity, which harnessed with his care for people as individuals, has seen him excel in teaching and youth work leadership alike.
Having classically trained since the age of 5, Sam graduated with a BA Hons Music from Bath Spa University in 2019, and a Diploma in primary teaching 3 years later (again from Bath Spa) which gave him a broad understanding of teaching and pedagogy and working with students of different backgrounds and abilities.
As well as teaching music in both group settings and 1:1, Sam has led and performed in orchestras and chamber groups, touring in Italy, Portugal and Hungary.
Sam is happy to teach all levels and ages, as well as preparing students for grade exams or to simply play and find joy in music!
