Claire – Singing teacher

Claire holds two degrees, one in European Theatre Arts from the renowned Drama School Rose Bruford College and a second BMus in Classical Singing from the Conservatory of Brooklyn College in New York (First Class Honours). Here she was awarded the Gregory Smith Award for Choral Excellence and had the opportunity to perform at venues such as Carnegie Hall and St John the Divine.  Claire has also completed masterclasses with world class singers such as Dame Felicity Lott, Amy Shoremount-Obra and Mark Schnaible.  This year she will be completing a summer course with Janice Chapman at the Royal Academy of Music to deepen her pedagogical studies in voice.

With training in both acting and music, Claire has learnt to be very adaptable with her students, finding fun and nurturing ways for her students to celebrate their individuality within their musical studies. She likes to create a warm and friendly environment for her students to grow and reach their musical goals.
