Antonio – Guitar teacher

Antonio is a London-based multi-instrumentalist, composer, and filmmaker with over two decades of experience in music and education. Beginning his musical journey with piano and classical guitar at the age of six, Antonio has since expanded his expertise to rock, jazz, flamenco, composition, and orchestration. His teaching philosophy emphasizes creativity and cultural diversity, inspired by his extensive background in various musical traditions and styles.

Antonio has performed his original works in prestigious venues such as Islington Assembly Hall, O2 Islington, and Ronnie Scott’s, and his work has been showcased on platforms like Sofar Sounds, Tunnel Sessions etc. His music, characterized by playful, honest storytelling, blends classical Western influences, jazz, Argentinian classical music, and electronic elements. This multicultural approach reflects his Italian heritage and extensive international collaborations.

In addition to live performances, Antonio has composed music for films, bands, and meditation series, demonstrating his versatility across genres including swing jazz, techno, ambient, and orchestral music. His compositions are acoustically rich, featuring fast arpeggios and rhythmic complexity, often combining electronic and acoustic elements in innovative ways.

Antonio’s notable projects include the jazz/electronic fusion Aiguille, the folk/electronic band Flying Tailor, and the ambient/meditative project Nàca. He is also engaged in research on cymatics and the physics of sound, contributing to his unique soundscapes.

Currently, Antonio offers private lessons in guitar, composition, and orchestration, welcoming students of all ages and skill levels. He specializes in rhythm, improvisation, harmony, theory, and transforming lyrics into music. While he prefers online teaching, in-person sessions are also available.
