Tania – Piano teacher

Tania has always been passionate about music, in particular piano, and has been involved in music in one way or another most of her life. Nothing gives her greater joy than creating music either on her own or with other musicians as a collaborative pianist.  She has been involved in various church worship groups as Music Director, pianist, vocalist and organist.  She has also played in several shows staged by a local amateur theatre group. Her music tastes span a wide variety of music genres and artists.

Tania teaches piano and music theory to students from as young as 5 years old through to the advanced (music) grades and works with the internationally recognised examining bodies, ABRSM & Trinity, for students who want to do music exams. She derives a great sense of pleasure and fulfilment from watching her students grow as they gain increasing knowledge and mastery of their chosen instrument whilst finding a channel of creative expression through music.

Tania is a contented & happy person who sees the good in people, the positive in situations and along with her ready smile, is always ready to have a chuckle at life. She is always ready for a challenge with her personal motto: “you are never too old to learn”.
