SCMT Youth Music Competitions 2013
On the weekend of 15th and 16th June 2013 SCMT (www.cassam.co.uk) held its Youth Music Competitions, sponsored by Ackerman Music and raising much needed funds for the Belltree Music Therapy centre (www.belltree.org.uk). It was a great success all round, with over 40 competitors from beginner to advanced level playing their music to the judges in the hope of winning some amazing cash prizes. The guest performer, Chris Woods (percussive guitarist) provided a jaw-dropping finale and the whole audience was delighted to see the mayor who arrived to give a speech about the event before drawing the raffle.
Susanna Cassam Music Tuition would like to thank everyone involved for their hard work and commitment to making this weekend a success. Money raised will be used to provide a subsidy fund for Belltree clients and new music technology equipment at the Belltree centre in Woodingdean.
