It’s finally here! Tomorrow sees the start of our 2 day youth music competitions so here is a little advice for all competitors:
- Make sure you are there at least 15 mins before your category times, dates and times will have been emailed to you already.
- Please make sure you bring a photocopy of your piece as well as the original.
- If you are not playing the piano make sure your instrument is tuned.
- Lastly try to enjoy the experience as much as possible, we have 2 lovely judges who only want everyone to do their very best!
Don’t forget the competitions are open to the public and it is only £3 for the whole weekend. However, the best time to come down will be on the Sunday, 4.30-5.30pm, we have the brilliant Chris Woods performing and also during this time the mayor will be there to draw the raffle. We are trying to raise money for Bell Tree Music Therapy Centre so please get in touch if you would like to buy raffle tickets. Tickets are £1 each… or a book of 5 tickets for £4 and you can get them direct from Susanna ([email protected] or 07720 771053/01273 504505) and they will be available to buy throughout the weekend.
