Jürgen is a classically trained piano and pipe organ teacher with a diverse musical background. He obtained a Master of Music in Organ Performance and a Master of Sacred Music (both from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX), and a Master of Arts in Musicology from the University of Chicago. His keyboard studies included pipe organ, piano, and harpsichord. For many years, he has also worked as a musical edition specialist, with a primary focus on newly prepared editions of Italian and French operas of the 18th and 19th centuries.
Jürgen prefers a structured course of study, preparing students for ABRSM exams. He mixes playing instruction with theory and general musicianship. He teaches from home, but can also visit your home if needed. Jürgen enjoys teaching pupils of all ages and abilities.
