Lizzy Carey is a professional multi-instrumentalist based in Brighton. She facilitates music making in hospitals for children and the elderly, on zoom for young people with an ASD, in schools, care homes, youth clubs and on zoom. Lizzy currently teaches violin, harmonica, guitar and piano for SCMT, BHMA, Harp Academy and EPIC Jam Band.
Lizzy has recorded and performed on multiple projects internationally as a session player, in festivals, concert halls, on TV & radio. Notable projects include; CUZ (Mike Watt), Bat for Lashes, The Raincoats, The Go! Team & Josh T Pearson. She is currently a proud band member of ‘The Daniel Wakeford Experience’, (of TVs ‘The Undateables’ fame).
Lizzy has a BA (Hons) in Creative Arts, a BTEC in Music Production, a PTLLLS certificate, ABRSM grades (violin & piano) and has attended PD training from; Music leader, BHMA, Artsplan, Carousel, Rhythmix, Wishing Well, CLADAC & Brighton and Hove’s Sound City Music Hub.
