Sonali is an experienced, patient and friendly teacher who holds a BMus Hons and PGCE in secondary music from the University of London. She has worked in the arts education and charity sectors throughout her twenty year career, alongside peripatetic teaching and also takes pride in giving time as a trustee for a refugee and arts dementia charity.
Music education is her passion; Sonali thoroughly enjoys teaching violin and piano across age ranges and abilities. As a teacher and performer, she has directed choirs and orchestras, arranged music for a variety of ensembles and is an experienced accompanist and performer.
Sonali believes in the power of music to change lives and works at the charity Music for All, enabling disadvantaged people to access avenues to making music. For those of us lucky enough to learn an instrument, we recognise the benefits to social and cognitive development and just how much fun music making can be. She is also a mother and fitness fanatic. She looks forward to teaching you or your youngster soon.
